We have an exciting, fixed term opportunity for a Delivery Scheduler up until the end of August 2026. This role supports the planned and integrated delivery of WTA operations by improving efficiencies through safe and vigilant oversight of the delivery programme.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Keep the works schedule accurate and updated
  • Support crews and subcontractors by effectively coordinating access and TTM requirements
  • Regularly report delivery progress and prioritise safety for all
  • Communicate weekly work schedules to make the most of planned TMPs, closures, and opportunities
  • Manage and update the master Forward Work Programme for integrated operations
  • Coordinate with the Communications Team for comprehensive external updates
  • Advise subcontractors on closure timings and details
  • Work with Project Managers to maintain an up-to-date programme in Wrike for all stakeholders
  • Provide scheduling advice to resolve planning challenges
  • Generate CAR numbers in Submitica and monitor approval status for TMC visibility
  • Flag and communicate any risks associated with schedule changes
  • Ensure timely communication of daily closures to stakeholders

About you

You'll demonstrate strong initiative and a proactive mindset, thriving in a dynamic environment while contributing to running a highly performing roading network.

To be successful in this role you will ideally have the following:

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field (preferred)
  • Full current class 1 driver's licence
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience delivering road maintenance works, including within high-capacity motorway corridors
  • Proven ability to work and communicate effectively with individuals at all levels, both within and external to the Alliance
  • A safety-conscious, customer-focused attitude with a proactive approach to delivery
  • Strong operational data entry, information management, and IT skills, including proficiency in specialised project management tools
  • Excellent written and verbal reporting skills
