Head of Trade Operations - Management Position

Permanent - Full Time (40 hours per week)

Location - Mitre 10 MEGA Invercargill

Mitre 10 has
been part of Kiwi life since 1974, and with the launch of our first MEGA store
in 2004, we've continued to grow and evolve. Now, we're looking for a dynamic,
driven individual to take the reins of our Drive Thru Trade Operation and support
our trade growth strategy in Southland.

About the Role:

As our Head of Trade Operations, you'll be the heartbeat of
our drive-thru trade yard, leading a team of up to 15 people to deliver
exceptional service to our trade customers. This is a hands-on leadership role
where operational excellence, customer focus, communication and team
development are key.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Leading
    and motivating the drive thru team to deliver outstanding customer experiences.

  • Ensuring
    smooth and efficient stock management and order picking operations.

  • Driving
    process improvements and maintaining high operational standards.
  • Building
    strong relationships with trade customers and suppliers.
  • Creating
    a safe, productive, and positive work environment.

We're after someone who:

    solid experience in the building or trade industry.

  • Is
    a natural leader with excellent communication and people skills.

  • Thrives
    in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
  • Is
    physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and forklift
    operation.
  • Is
    proactive, solutions-focused, and passionate about delivering results.

Roster & Hours:

  • Monday
    to Friday with weekend work as required
  • 40
    hours per week
