Senior Accounts Administrator (Part-Time - approx 20-25 hours/week)

The Opportunity

We're seeking a part-time Senior Accounts Administrator to manage our day-to-day financial operations. Reporting to the Directors, you'll play a key role in maintaining financial accuracy, supporting compliance, and partnering with our external accountants to ensure smooth month-end processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily reconciliation and transaction processing in Xero
  • Supplier invoice management and batch payment preparation
  • Support debtor collections and accurate sales invoicing
  • Prepare month-end journals and maintain the general ledger
  • Assist with GST and FBT returns, and year-end documentation
  • Maintain short-term cashflow forecasts
  • Collaborate with external accountants to improve financial workflows

What You'll Bring

  • 3–5 years' experience in accounts administration or similar finance role
  • Strong understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, and GST compliance
  • Proficiency in Xero; familiarity with ProjectWorks a plus
  • High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams
  • Clear communication and a commitment to accuracy and timeliness
