We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support our daily financial and administrative operations. This role will primarily focus on maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with the preparation of reports, while also supporting general business processes. This position is suitable for a candidate with a background in business management who is eager to apply their skills in a practical financial setting.
Job Description:
- Assist in maintaining financial records, including data entry of invoices, receipts, and transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Support the preparation of financial summaries, reports, and reconciliations.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes.
- Work with external accountants or advisors to ensure timely submission of financial information.
- Use accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB) to manage records and generate reports.
- Maintain organised filing systems for both digital and physical financial records.
- Provide general administrative and operational support to the management team as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies and financial procedures.
Job requirement:
- Please have at least three years relevant work experience, or
- NZQF Level 4 or above
- Be able to work in a team
