We're looking for a sharp, driven Senior Performance Lead - the go-to expert who can merge technical mastery with high-level client strategy. This role is for the ambitious specialist who believes in true collaboration, is driven by a low-ego, high-drive approach, and wants to accelerate their path toward a future Head of Performance position.

The Opportunity: Your Strategic Leadership

You will be the lead strategist and channel expert for our paid social performance efforts. This role is about setting the gold standard for social execution, leading key client portfolios, and driving internal process improvement.

What You'll Be Doing (The Engine Room):
  • Social Strategy Ownership: Lead the entire paid social strategy for a key portfolio of high-growth clients, acting as the deep channel expert in all client communications.
  • Advanced Execution & Optimisation: Take full responsibility for the planning, implementation, and rigorous optimisation of campaigns primarily across Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Linkedin, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging social platforms.
  • Process & Documentation: Build and maintain excellent processes and documentation specifically for the Social team, covering creative briefing, reporting standards, and advanced optimisation techniques.
  • Budget Mastery: Manage or oversee the successful execution of large client social budgets, often totaling $100k+ per month across your account portfolio.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with our internal creative and data teams to design custom measurement solutions and ensure data-led learnings are integrated and applied effectively into campaign execution.
  • Mentorship & Quality: Lead by example with innovative ads execution and provide mentorship or guidance to junior specialists on performance best practices and platform updates.
  • Client Leadership: Maintain strong client relationships, leading strategic performance reviews and presenting clear, confident reports that simplify complexity.
What You'll Bring (Your Toolkit):

  • Experience: 3-5 years of direct, hands-on experience managing large-scale paid social campaigns (ideally agency based).
  • Channel Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Meta Ads Manager and Linkedin (required) and working experience with other major platforms like TikTok Ads Manager is a plus.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong proficiency in analysing performance metrics.  Experience with platforms and tools like Google Tag Manager and reporting via Data Studio and Google Analytics. We have a data team to help you but would be a bonus if you already have this experience.
  • Strategic Thinking: A strong understanding of how paid social strategy integrates with wider marketing objectives, driving both short-term results and long-term brand equity.
  • Commercial Acumen & Application: A genuine interest in understanding the wider business needs of our clients (beyond just the ad account). We award bonus points for demonstrating how you apply this deeper commercial knowledge to shape and refine your social strategy and execution.
  • Initiative & Problem Solving: A creative problem solver who isn't afraid to dive deep and ask "why." You thrive on initiative, managing complex projects, and meeting deadlines in an agile work environment.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (the ability to simplify complexity into clear client strategy is key).
