Agam Transport Limited is seeking for multiple reliable and motivated Delivery Drivers to join our team in the Hawke's Bay & Taranaki regions. As a Delivery Driver, you will operate a company vehicle to deliver goods to clients. All travel and fuel costs will be covered by the employer.

You should be willing to work as part of the delivery team to ensure that the items are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Deliver a wide variety of items to different addresses and through different routes.
  • Follow routes and schedule to deliver the products on time to the right place.
  • Operate a delivery vehicle to deliver the products. Also, inspect it from time to time.
  • Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
  • Preparation and checking of logs and reports to ensure order delivery
  • Deliver orders in a timely manner.
  • Safely operate a vehicle in all types of weather conditions
  • Navigate local streets and highways efficiently using GPS.
  • Other relevant tasks as required to complete the job.

The candidate will be required to work for a minimum of 30 hours per week and will be paid between $25 to $30 per hour.

Other important requirements:

  • A relevant work experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Availability to work between 6am to 6pm and on weekends.
  • Clean driving record with a valid driver's license.
  • Pre-employment drug testing is required.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Physically fit and capable of handling the job's physical demands, including heavy lifting.
  • Self-motivated and a passionate individual.
  • Applicants must be flexible and willing to work across the Hawke's Bay and Taranaki regions, as required, to meet business needs. The company will cover the relocation costs.
