Key Responsibilities:

  • maintenance of stock control
  • operating forklift, transferring stock between trucks and store area
  • check inwards goods and receipt stock into accounting system
  • check supplier costs on goods received, ensure costs match those in our accounting system
  • check supplier costs on goods received, endure costs match those in our accounting system
  • transfer inwards goods into designated areas
  • pick, pack, check and dispatch customer orders
  • file delivery dockets, invoices etc
  • keep abreast of freight costs
  • contact suppliers regarding damaged goods, short deliveries, credits etc
  • ensure that maintenance of truck and forklift are carried out on a regular basis
  • assist with stocktakes as required
  • keep the warehouse, storepersons office and amenities in a clean and tidy condition
  • ensure buildings and griunds are kept clean, tidy and weed free
  • answer phones and assist in shop when asked by managers

What we are looking for:

  • Proven history in warehouse operations with some customer service sales experience
  • current clean drivers and forklift licences
  • basic computer literacy
  • great attention to detail and accuracy with paperwork
  • strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
  • honedt, reliable, punctual and takes pride in your work
  • a team player who is happy to help where needed
