We're looking for passionate and skilled Chefs to join our team at the prestigious Air New Zealand Lounge in Auckland Airport. In this role, you'll prepare and serve high-quality meals that reflect the excellence of New Zealand's national airline. You'll work in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment where attention to detail, creativity, and consistency are key.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

• Prepare, cook, and present food to a high standard, ensuring quality control and consistency.
• Receive, store, and rotate kitchen supplies, maintaining inventory and freshness.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment, adhering to food safety and health regulations.
• Develop menus that cater to diverse dietary and cultural needs, ensuring inclusivity and satisfaction.
• Coach and support junior staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing kitchen team.

He kōrero mōu / About you:

• NZQA Level 4 Certificate in Cookery or equivalent, with experience in a similar environment.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.
• A team player with a flexible, positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Physically fit, reliable, and able to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism.
