The Role

We're looking for a Software Engineer with strong focus on Front-end to join the team behind

- the customer-facing web application of
Evo platform
. Evo is Seequent next-gen geoscience data and compute platform that enables integrated workflows and collaboration across native Seequent and third-party products.

As the most visible part of the platform,
Evo web application
plays a critical role in shaping the user experience for our global customer base, ensuring a smooth, intuitive, and efficient user journey. This is a high-impact, high-profile role where your work will directly influence how customers interact with the tools they rely on daily.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Design and develop sophisticated software applications, components, and modules that push the boundaries of technology.
• Create models, simulations, and prototypes of software behaviour to gain stakeholder approval and ensure smooth construction, verifying designs with advanced methods.
• Code, test, document, and refine complex programs, scripts, and integration services, ensuring high-quality and efficient solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, pair-programming, and automation activities, promoting excellence in software engineering practices.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
• 2+ years working in relevant Software Engineering roles.
• Experience building SPAs or other web clients.
• Experience with Typescript, React, Redux a bonus.
• Familiarity with CI/CD Pipelines and DevOps practices.

Additional Information

Office-based working environment, work from our Christchurch office three or more days per week.
