The work environment

This state of the art facility will see you working alongside a variety of skilled trades people. The facility itself is an eye opener, a considerable step up from what would normally be expected in both the volume of vehicles coming through and the size of the operation.

A combination of workshop based work and mobile field service is required although most work is completed on site.

The skills sought

We are seeking a qualified Auto Electrician to carry out diagnostic work, auto electrical repairs, air conditioning and basic mechanical work such as competent removal and refitting on passenger cars.

The role operates alongside a variety of other skilled trades people where there is a requirement to work as part of a larger team of collision repair professionals, wheel alignment specialists, automotive technicians, technical specialists, and support staff.

Remuneration and benefits

Remuneration is targeted towards the upper end of the remuneration scale. Benefits include genuine opportunities for career advancement in the wider group.

While a New Zealand based candidate either with or without residency would be preferred, consideration would also be given to an offshore skilled migrant with an NZ equivalent Auto Electrician qualification. The employer is accredited by Immigration NZ and would consider such applications.
