Job Description

Job Description – How you'll make an impact

In this full-time Dental Assistant role, you'll play an essential part in creating a smooth, positive experience for every patient—both in the chair and at the front desk. While primarily chairside, you'll occasionally assist with reception and administrative tasks to help the practice run efficiently.

Your day-to-day responsibilities:

  • Provide chairside support during dental procedures and ensure patient comfort.
  • Maintain high standards of infection control, sterilisation, and room preparation.
  • Greet patients and assist with reception duties, including scheduling and record keeping.
  • Handle administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Support daily operations through teamwork and clear communication.

Qualifications

We're looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for patient care. Experience in dental assisting or reception is an advantage, but enthusiasm and willingness to learn are what matter most.

You should have:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Confidence using dental or medical practice software (training provided).
  • A friendly, proactive, and team-oriented approach.
