About the role

Toyota is the leading automotive brand in New Zealand - for 37 years Toyota NZ has retained its title as New Zealand's number one car brand Here at North Shore Toyota we are looking for a Sales Consultant who is passionate about matching the perfect vehicles to our incredibly loyal and proud customer base. 

The team here are high-performing and work in a supportive and collaborate way together, so we're looking for someone with:

  • an A+ attitude
  • at least 3 years' experience in automotive sales, ideally new vehicles at a Franchise dealership
  • a proven history of successful prospecting
  • fluency in Mandarin
  • a successful history of target achievement
  • knowledge of emerging global automotive trends
  • integrity to do right by our customers and your colleagues at all times
  • professional and prides themselves on their personal presentation
  • a team player with a solutions driven mindset
  • proficient with Microsoft suite, and can pick up new technologies quickly

Your day-to-day work would include:

  • Prospecting new and existing customers
  • Selling vehicles and meeting your sales targets  You'll sell mostly new (and some used) vehicles, and you'll do all the work associated with the full sales cycle.  We have an admin team to support you too.
  • Providing seamless customer service
  • Contributing to a positive and happy work environment.

You must also have a clean and full New Zealand driver's licence and the right to work in New Zealand. You may also be proficient in another language.
