Anamata, Taupō's Youth One Stop Shop, is seeking a dedicated nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. We offer free, confidential, youth-friendly health services to 12–24-year-old, and low-cost sexual health care to those 25 and over. Our clinics and outreach services operate in Taupō and Turangi.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver clinical sexual and reproductive health services, including STI testing and treatment, contraception advice, pregnancy testing, and health education.
  • Able to work in  nurse lead clinics, working autonomously across a range of presentations—from chronic conditions to minor injuries—while demonstrating sound clinical judgment and assessment skills.
  • Effectively prioritise and triage care in fast-paced, multifaceted settings.
  • Provide inclusive, non-judgmental support and guidance around, health literacy, consent, healthy relationships, mental well-being, gender identity and sexual orientation.
  • Uphold culturally safe, inclusive practices grounded in Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
About You

We are open to conversation with any registered nurse regardless of experience with a current Nursing Council of New Zealand Practicing Certificate. Someone who has a strong interest in youth health, sexual and reproductive health, or community nursing.
