We at PAK'nSAVE Hastings have a part time vacancy within the Dry Goods Department, and we are looking for diligent and hard working stars to join the team. The hours are with in our MORNING FILL team, and are great for people who are keen to pick up a few extra hours ON TOP of your current job, or you are a student, parent, or part time worker wanting to work outside of other commitments.

  • Sunday to Thursday 4.00am - 7.30am (17.5 hours per week, Friday and Saturday off)

This kind of position will see you responsible for receiving and stacking away Grocery deliveries from direct suppliers and our Distribution Centre, while monitoring stock levels, making lists of stock required and then collecting stock from bulk storage and filling the shelves. A diligence for stock rotation is essential and knowledge of FIFO is highly desired. Setting up of our specials displays is also a focus for these roles for the Grocery department at the beginning of the week.

We are looking for:

  • Ability to work alone and independently, and productively
  • Possess problem solving skills
  • Early risers - ability to work and operate at early hours of the morning
  • Eye for detail and pride in stock presentation
  • A great working attitude and ethics
  • Some physical work is involved, with lots of lifting and stacking, so a good level of fitness is required.

Full Training will be provided to the successful candidates. Previous experience in a 'nightfill' environment/role or the proven ability to work early hours of the morning is highly desired.
