About the Role
We have the opportunity for a qualified Sonographer to join our Radiology team, based across Waitākere Hospital (271 Beds) and North Shore Hospital (631 Beds). Te Whatu Ora, Waitematā District serves an ever-growing population of over 640,000 people, throughout the communities in the western and northern regions of Auckland. This is a permanent role and we are open to applications from people who can work part time or full time hours.
One of the attractions is the opportunity to work as part of a dynamic imaging team. These busy ultrasound departments will offer you work that will be varied and interesting including general, obstetrics, paediatric, vascular and some musculoskeletal examinations.
As these are training hospitals, you will be able to broaden your knowledge and experience and further develop your career whilst making a valued contribution to the teaching of others.
In addition to the interesting and varied range of examinations and pathologies, you will be able to extend your knowledge through teaching and there are opportunities for career development.

About you
We are seeking a Sonographer with a passion for teaching, learning, and working in a team environment. General and obstetric experience is essential, and preferably vascular experience too.
You will require qualifications that are recognised by the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board and must hold a current annual practicing certificate.
