About the Role

We're seeking a detail-focused Financial Controller to manage the core financial operations at Farra. This role has arisen due to an internal promotion and will report to the Finance Manager. You'll be part of a high-functioning Shared Services team, so it's perfect for someone who enjoys being part of a team and contributing to a positive, engaging work environment.

This is a hands-on position focused on accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting—ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers and maintaining strong financial governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Month-End & Annual Reporting – Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure compliance with IFRS 15/16.
  • GST & Tax Compliance – Manage GST returns and ensure adherence to all tax obligations.
  • Audit Support – Coordinate annual audit requirements and maintain compliance documentation.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable – Oversee AR/AP processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Cash Flow Management – Monitor short-term cash flow and maintain liquidity visibility.
  • System Support – Maintain and improve financial systems for efficiency and accuracy.

Who You Are

  • Experienced finance professional with strong technical accounting skills.
  • CA (or equivalent) qualification preferred.
  • Familiarity with IFRS standards and compliance requirements.
  • Comfortable managing core finance functions in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Detail-focused, reliable, and able to work independently while thriving in a team setting.
