We have had an exciting opportunity arise for a well-known name within the Canterbury region. This is a great time to utilise your leadership skills and step into a varied role where no day will be the same.

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned financial professional with experience in construction or manufacturing, bringing a solid understanding of project-based financials and operational costings. They will have a proven history of guiding organisations through periods of growth and change, combining strategic vision with practical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
  • Lead the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to provide strategic financial insights.
  • Supervise and mentor the finance team.

You Will have:

  • CA/CPA qualified
  • Big 4 audit background preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulatory frameworks
  • Well-rounded senior level accounting and finance experience
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise and work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and people management skills
