To be Eligible:

  • Must have relevant qualifications in Education
  • Must have current or previous experience teaching in the classroom
  • Provide a minimum of two professional references (One from your most recent employer)
  • Must be eligible to obtain, or have already obtained your NZQA and NZ teaching registration
  • Must be eligible to obtain, or have already obtained working rights in New Zealand

Overseas Teachers:

Applications from overseas teachers are welcomed if you are able to meet the criteria for this position. To be considered you should be document ready and have NZ teacher registration and a current practicing certificate. This role meets the criteria for the overseas relocation grant.

Remuneration and Benefits

This role falls under the Secondary Teachers' Collective Agreement (STCA), with an annual salary between $66,667 and $100,000 depending on service and qualifications.
