About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sous Chef atMiriam CorbanRetirement Village in Henderson. This is a Full time position working Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9.30 to 5.30pm and Friday and Saturday 8 to 5pm.

In this role you will:

• Collaborate with the kitchen team to create an exceptional dining experience that's 'good enough for mum'.
• Provide coverage of the Senior Lead Chef during their days off.
• Prepare delicious meals from our seasonal menus, rich in variety, flavour and nutrition.
• Cater to different residents' dietary needs.
• Assist with specialty food for fine dining experiences and functions.
• Operate with health and safety as a key consideration at all times.

About You

To thrive in our environment you will have:

• New Zealand Certificate in Cookery (level 3)
• Proven experience as a Chef, leading a team and running a kitchen
• Outstanding communication skills
• A reliable, friendly and professional manner
