About us

SA-ON Thai Eatery is an authentic Thai restaurant located in Henderson, Auckland. We are looking for a Chef to join our team on a casual employment basis, helping us deliver high-quality, authentic Thai dishes.

Key Responsibilities

– Prepare and cook authentic Thai dishes including curries, stir-fries, soups, and restaurant specialties

– Plan and maintain menu quality and food presentation

– Manage inventory, food costs and minimise waste

– Ensure food hygiene, health and safety standards are met

– Supervise and train junior kitchen staff

Requirements

– Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chef in a commercial kitchen

– Proven ability to cook authentic Thai cuisine to a high standard

– Good knowledge of food safety and allergen management

– Reliable, able to work well under pressure

– Pay: NZD $31.61 per hour + 8% holiday pay
