About the Role:

This is a newly created support role sitting between the Service Manager and the Technician Team. It combines office work, warehouse duties, and occasional factory tasks. The focus is on scheduling and customer communication, preparing jobs and parts for technicians, and keeping the service workflow running smoothly. The role will evolve over time based on the person's skills and interests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate service jobs and confirm details with farmers.
  • Take calls for parts, service work, or technical support and update job cards.
  • Pack and label parts for upcoming jobs, sort returned items, and assist technicians with loading trucks.
  • Handle office tasks: Enter job details in Ostendo, check job cards for accuracy, and create simple labels and records.
  • Help with basic factory tasks like cutting pipe, drilling holes, and moving equipment when needed.

Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years in a related environment.
  • Exposure to dairy sheds/milking machinery or mechanical/trade parts is highly advantageous but not essential.
  • Comfortable working across office, store, and factory areas and switching tasks frequently.
  • Competent with computers: able to learn Ostendo, use MS Word/Outlook, basic Excel, and handle simple label creation/printing.
  • Current forklift licence (or willingness to obtain one).
