What Makes This Role Different?

We go well beyond the traditional pharmacy model. As a pharmacist here, you'll:

  • Work directly with GPs in a collaborative model at a local medical practice
  • Prescribe under standing orders for 20+ acute conditions (e.g. UTIs, eczema, skin infections, tonsilitis ,sick certificates etc.)
  • Deliver a wide range of vaccinations – flu, COVID, shingles, meningococcal, Tdap, and more.
  • Provide sleep apnoea consultations, CPAP services & patient monitoring.
  • Offer compression stocking fittings and patient education.
  • Oversee warfarin management, including INR testing & dose adjustments.
  • Support patients with medication adherence services (medico packs, blister packs)
  • Be part of a clinical service model, not just a dispensing team.

  • 5 Experienced Pharmacists
  • 5 Qualified Pharmacy Technicians
  • 1 PACT (Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Technician)
  • This is a rotational role at our new Pharmacy opening in March 2026 where you will be sole charge.

We're Looking for a Pharmacist Who Is:

  • NZ-registered with a current Annual Practising Certificate (APC)
  • Passionate about delivering clinical care and improving health outcomes
  • Keen to work collaboratively with doctors and practice nurses
  • Confident in vaccinations and extended services (or willing to train)
  • A strong communicator and team player
  • Looking to grow and innovate in their career
