One of our team members is heading off on a new adventure in Australia We're looking for an energetic, compassionate, and skilled person to join us in a full-time dual role that combines Financial Mentoring and Supervised Contact Coordination.

About the Role

This full-time position (1 FTE) combines two vital services:

  • Financial Mentor (0.5 FTE): Support individuals and whānau to improve financial capability, manage debt, and work towards independence. You'll provide one-on-one financial mentoring and facilitate group Money Mates programmes.
  • Supervised Contact Coordinator (0.5 FTE): Coordinate and manage supervised contact services, ensuring safe, child-centred interactions in partnership with the Family Court and other professionals.

You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary, values-led team committed to professional growth, collaboration, and excellent outcomes for children and families.

What You'll Bring

  • Empathy and professionalism in supporting people under stress
  • Strong organisational, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to lead and support a small team of Supervised Contact Supervisors
  • Knowledge of family systems, child wellbeing, and financial capability
  • Understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and commitment to culturally responsive practice
  • Computer literacy and sound record-keeping skills
  • Full New Zealand driver's licence and access to a vehicle

Experience in financial mentoring, social services, or child/family work is an advantage, but full training as a Financial Mentor will be provided.
