About the role

We're seeking a talented and experienced Chef De Partie to join our busy kitchen at Ada in Grey Lynn. As a CDP, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our Head Chef and the kitchen team to deliver exceptional dining experiences for our customers.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing high-quality ingredients and dishes to precise specifications
• Assisting with the efficient running of the kitchen, including stock management, food safety, and compliance with health and safety regulations
• Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure a smooth and seamless service
• Demonstrating a strong commitment to continual improvement and a passion for delivering exceptional cuisine
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic work environment

What we're looking for

• At least 2 years' experience as a CDP or equivalent role in a busy, high-quality kitchen
• A strong understanding of food preparation techniques and presentation
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house team
