A leading civil engineering contractor based in Napier is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join their team. This full-time role is perfect for candidates with proven expertise overseeing concrete structures and bridge projects within the civil engineering sector.​

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring all tasks are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.​
  • Lead and motivate construction teams, allocating resources efficiently to achieve project goals.​
  • Oversee the build and erection of concrete structures and bridges, supervising all aspects of works on site.​
  • Conduct regular toolbox meetings and daily pre-starts to ensure clear communication across the crew.​
  • Monitor and enforce health and safety compliance across all activities.​
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for bridge and concrete construction.​

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated experience supervising civil construction sites, specifically concrete and bridge projects.​
  • Strong leadership qualities and excellent communication skills.​
  • Minimum of 12 months in a supervisory capacity on civil sites. Specialist experience with concrete structures and bridges is essential.​
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation and manage resources effectively.​
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
