Who is BioOra?

BioOra is proud to be New Zealand's first Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell manufacturing company. At the forefront of cell therapy innovation, we are currently manufacturing for a Phase II clinical trial and advancing toward large scale commercial production. Our goal is to revolutionise cancer immunotherapy by automating and scaling the production of CAR T-cells, to deliver this life-saving technology at a fraction of standard costs and time.  

What will you do?

As we evolve, so too are our systems and processes. Reporting to our Head of Business Strategy & Operations, this recently reshaped role will provide support for business-wide projects including planning, coordinating activities, communications and reporting. There are two priority focus areas, both of which require previous business experience.

Raising our company profile and strengthening engagement through internal & external communications by:

• Creating engaging posts, visuals and video content that elevate BioOra's profile and impact across our social media and website platforms, including educational events, promotional material and press-releases.
• Maintaining and updating website content, publishing press releases and responding promptly to enquiries.
• Developing and maintaining training video modules to support staff training
• Managing submission of new potential grants and award applications.
• Supporting, developing and circulating internal communication materials, presentations, and newsletters.

The implementation of fit for purpose automation of systems such as:

• Supporting the rollout and adoption of our CRM, clinical management software, and other facility related systems (e.g., BMS, Security System).
• Managing relationships with software providers.
• Coordinating user training, manage issue resolution, and liaise with software vendors to support continuous improvement and communication of system updates.
• Managing accounts and licensing of all software subscriptions.

What do you bring to the role?

You will provide rock solid support for the strategic initiatives that our leadership team are developing. You'll hit the ground sprinting as you are inherently a self-starter, with initiative in abundance. You will also have:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in business, marketing, communications or technology or equivalent experience.
• A number of years' experience in general business operations in small to medium enterprise with an understanding of what is required to scale up a business quickly and efficiently.
• Proficiency at delivering, sharp and tailored professional comms across various digital platforms.
• Familiarity with supporting and automating IT systems and digital platforms.
• Design software experience i.e. Adobe Creative Cloud and an interest in videography (preferred).
• A proactive, resourceful and 'get it done' mindset.
• Impeccable attention to detail, with refined organisational skills.
• The ability to think on your feet and make quick, informed decisions.
