Join us as a Bitumen Sprayer Operator in our Christchurch based Sealing Team  

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Bitumen Sprayer Operator to join our Christchurch based sealing team. In this role, you will operate the bitumen sprayer across the wider Canterbury region to help deliver work for our customers safely, on time and to the highest quality standard.

In addition to the above you will:

  • Execute sealing works as required by the applicable contract specifications.
  • Maintain open communication with other crew members and management.
  • Keep all plant and work sites in a safe and tidy condition.
  • Be proficient and familiar with the sealing plant and its operation.

We're looking for someone with:  

  • Availability to work away from home and on shift.
  • Full Class 4 licence and WTR endorsements.
  • Previous bitumen and emulsion handling experience.
  • The ability to problem solve in a fast-paced team environment.
  • A proactive approach to Health and Safety - it's our #1 priority
  • A passion for delivering good work to a high-quality standard.
  • The ability to self-manage and work with limited supervision.
  • Good Interpersonal and communication skills
  • A positive attitude and most importantly, a good sense of humour
