Full Stack Software Engineer

We're looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join our Clinical Portal team. Clinical Portal is a secure, web-based solution that provides healthcare professionals with a unified interface to view a longitudinal patient health record, consolidating data from multiple integrated systems.

As part of a cross-functional agile team, you'll help enhance and expand our Clinical Portal product suite and bring it to healthcare organisations across the globe. Our solutions are already trusted by millions of clinicians and patients in regions including New Zealand, the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe, and the Middle East - and we're continuing to grow.

In this role, you will:

• Be involved across the full software development lifecycle — from design through to delivery and support.
• Build high-quality, scalable, and well-structured software that underpins the success of our Clinical Portal solutions.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver meaningful features that directly improve the experience of clinicians and healthcare providers worldwide.
• Engage with clients to understand their stories, needs, and goals — ensuring the solutions we deliver continue to meet their needs now and into the future.
• (If you're joining at a senior level) contribute to architectural and design decisions, champion best practices, and mentor other engineers within the team.

What will you bring to the role?

• Experience:
  You'll bring at least 5 years' experience as a Software Engineer, with exposure to both front-end and back-end development. If you have deeper experience, we'll look to you to help guide technical decisions and mentor others.
• Technical skills:
  Strong proficiency in Java and database technologies such as Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server. Front-end experience with React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is also important. Familiarity with cloud platforms (especially AWS) is a big advantage. Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (Cypress, Selenium, Playwright), Terraform, Docker, Ansible, ECS, Lambda, or automation tooling would be a bonus.
• Characteristics:
  You're naturally curious, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems. You communicate well, collaborate effectively, and are comfortable working both independently and as part of a large, cross-functional team.
