As a major distributor of globally recognised pump brands and systems, we serve industrial, municipal, food & beverage, agricultural and building services sectors across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.

We're seeking an experienced Technical Manager to join our Auckland‑based team. This full‑time, permanent role reports to the Branch Manager and is ideal for a hands‑on leader with strong electrical expertise and a passion for delivering high‑quality technical solutions.

About the role
  • Lead electrical and control system projects from design through commissioning
  • Oversee pump testing, VSD programming and compliance with specifications
  • Conduct and supervise on‑site commissioning and troubleshooting
  • Manage projects end‑to‑end, ensuring timely and cost‑effective delivery
  • Mentor junior staff and apprentices, fostering technical excellence
  • Ensure compliance with NZ electrical standards and safety regulations
  • Deliver training sessions for staff and customers on systems and procedures
What we're looking for
  • NZ registered Electrician with current EWRB licence
  • Trade qualification or degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
  • 5+ years' experience in technical leadership or supervisory roles
  • Proven expertise in pump systems, electrical installations and VSD programming
  • Strong problem‑solving, leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in fast‑paced environments
  • Valid Site Safe Passport required
