Imagine being part of a team that shapes how data drives smarter decisions, better customer experiences, and operational excellence across the bank.

As a Business Partner, you'll be the go-to connector between our Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence and business teams. Your mission? Understand what different teams want to achieve and help turn those ambitions into actionable data solutions. You'll guide conversations, surface opportunities, and prioritisze what matters most, making sure data works harder for everyone.

You'll seek to spot patterns and identify where shared solutions can deliver impact across multiple business units. Think big picture: build once, reuse widely, and create value that scales.

Hours: Standard 37.5 hours per week

Ka aha tō rā e kite ai? - What will your day look like
You will be responsible for:

  • Acting as the primary link between the Data & Analytics Centre of Excellence and your assigned business units
  • Building strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders to understand their goals, challenges, and data needs
  • Working with our data teams to translate business priorities into actionable data solutions that deliver measurable impact
  • Identifying opportunities for shared or reusable solutions that create value across multiple teams
  • Collaborating with delivery leads to scope, size, and sequence initiatives for maximum efficiency
  • Championing our data strategy by advocating smarter, consistent use of data and preparing stakeholders for upcoming changes

What will you bring?
To thrive and excel in this role, you should ideally possess the following:

  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and influence outcomes in complex environments
  • Strong understanding of how data can unlock business value, even if you haven't worked hands-on with data tools
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with confidence in presenting ideas clearly
  • Organised and proactive mindset, able to balance multiple priorities without losing momentum
  • Experience in large organisations, ideally in data, analytics, digital transformation, or a related business role
  • Familiarity with Agile ways of working and modern data platforms is a plus
