Progressive Meats Limited (PML) is Hawkes Bay's most long-standing privately owned meat processing company. We are proud of our ongoing partnership with PML, and love helping to build their teams. As their Beef Production Planner and Analyst, you will manage daily beef production planning and perform precise data reconciliation to ensure accuracy and operational continuity. You will be joining a good crew here.

You will report to the Commercial Manager and work closely with the production supervisor and Beef Coordinator. You will lead the planning function for PML's beef processing to enable the production teams to meet their customer requirements and assist them to maximise efficiency. This is a key role linking with production and livestock teams to ensure customer satisfaction, accurate processing of orders.  You will monitor the delivery of the daily processing plans and run production and yield analysis reports.

This role will be suited to those with experience in production planning ideally from within a manufacturing based environment. You must be able to balance the variables of customer demand and orders alongside the challenges of resourcing and operational requirements.  Strong communication skills and an ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders will be important. You will be able to self-manage your workload but also enjoy working collaboratively in a team. This is a dynamic fast paced environment where no two days are the same. You'll be as comfortable on the production floor as you are inside an Excel spreadsheet.
