This role is with a leading consulting firm with expertise in geotechnical services. Their range of ground engineering services includes site investigation, geotechnical interpretation, analysis and design, and construction advice. They offer exposure to large blue-chip clients with an emphasis on commercial and industrial developments. 

We are seeking applications from Engineering Geologists with a strong technical focus and the ability to work closely with clients and lead projects.

The Role / Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake geotechnical analysis for various projects as required
  • Responsible for the accuracy of calculations prepared for design
  • Assist with preparation of tender, concept and detailed design reports for major projects
  • Work alongside a team of professional Geotechnical experts

Requirements for the role:

  • BSc and Masters from a NZ University
  • Minimum of 5 years' full time employment in a NZ consultancy environment
  • Sound technical expertise and experience
  • Understanding of foundation design principles
  • Sound communication skills including report writing
  • Enthusiasm to work across a variety of projects
  • Familiar with relevant NZ Standards
