Senior Engineering Geologist

A growing consultancy is looking for a Senior Engineering Geologist to join their Auckland team. This is a rare opportunity to step into a lead role while staying closely involved in technical delivery.
You'll work across a mix of residential, commercial, industrial, coastal/marine projects, taking ownership of both geological inputs and day to day project management.
What the role looks like:
- Deliver technical investigations, assessments and reporting
- Manage projects and coordinate with clients and wider design teams
- Act as the key geological contact on complex, multi-disciplinary work
- Contribute to how the geology function grows within the business
What they're looking for:
- 8+ years' consultancy experience
- Strong technical grounding and confidence delivering projects
- Someone ready to step up and take on more ownership
- Collaborative communicator who enjoys working across disciplines
The role offers real variety and complexity, plenty of autonomy, and the chance to shape how the geology function grows within the team, all within a supportive, collaborative environment.
