Full-Time| Hospitality Leadership Opportunity

Are you passionate about delivering outstanding guest experiences? Do you enjoy leading a team and being hands-on in a dynamic hospitality environment? Copthorne Solway Park is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Restaurant & Conference Supervisor to join our team.

This exciting role plays a key part in overseeing daily operations across our restaurant, bar, conferences, weddings, and events. You'll work closely with our Restaurant & Conference Operations Manager and Conference & Events Manager to ensure seamless service execution and an exceptional guest experience.

What You'll Be Doing

Operational Leadership

• Oversee shift operations across restaurant, bar, and function spaces.
• Lead service on the floor, ensuring staff are prepared, briefed, and delivering consistently high standards.
• Support setup, service, and pack-down of conferences and events.
• Ensure accurate cash-ups, table closures, and daily checklists are completed.

Team Support & Culture

• Supervise and guide staff during service, promoting teamwork and professionalism.
• Deliver pre-shift briefings and assist with on-the-job training for new and existing staff.
• Help foster a positive, inclusive, and fun workplace culture aligned with Trust House values.

Service Excellence

• Maintain and uphold the Standard Sequence of Service across all outlets.
• Encourage upselling and product knowledge among the team.
• Monitor presentation standards, including uniforms and grooming.

Stock & Financial Accuracy

• Assist with stock control, ordering needs, and stocktake processes.
• Ensure correct handling of transfers, wastage logs, and beverage tracking.

Event Coordination

• Work closely with the Events team to deliver high-quality functions and conferences.
• Coordinate staffing, service flow, and communication with the kitchen.
• Act as host where required, ensuring guest satisfaction remains the priority.

Health & Safety

• Comply with hotel policies and industry regulations, including food safety and the Sale & Supply of Alcohol Act.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment for guests and staff.

What You'll Bring

• Experience in hospitality service, ideally in a supervisory or senior waitstaff position.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
• A proactive, hands-on approach and confidence in busy service environments.
• A positive attitude and commitment to delivering memorable guest experiences.

A current LCQ and/or Duty Manager's Certificate would be an advantage.
