Delhi Tadka Dil Se Limited is looking for an experienced Cook to join our team. This role involves preparing a variety of dishes, ensuring consistency and quality, and contributing to the efficient daily functioning of the kitchen. The candidate may also be required to work at another location within the same region, based on business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cooking and plating a variety of Indian dishes—curries, tandoori items, breads, snacks, and more—using both traditional and contemporary methods.
  • Preparing and organizing fresh ingredients daily to ensure the kitchen is ready for service.
  • Ensuring consistent flavour, texture, and presentation across all menu items.
  • Checking the freshness and quality of vegetables, meats, spices, and other ingredients prior to use.
  • Operating kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including tandoors, gas ranges, ovens, and deep fryers.
  • Properly storing raw and cooked food in compliance with food safety and temperature control standards.
  • Portioning and preparing dishes according to company specifications and service requirements.
  • Supporting the senior Chef and kitchen team with food prep, stock checks, and general kitchen duties as required
  • Maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times.
  • Following all relevant Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations, especially those specific to Indian cuisine preparation.

Work Hours & Pay:

  • Minimum of 30 hours per week.
  • Hourly wage ranges from $25 to $30, depending on experience and skill level.

Candidate Requirements:

  • At least one year of relevant work experience in Indian cuisine.
  • Must be flexible to work weekends.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Physically fit and able to handle the demands of a busy kitchen environment.
  • Reliable, hardworking, and passionate about cooking.
  • High attention to detail and strong commitment to hygiene and safety practices.
