Our Palmerston North workshop is seeking a hands-on Foreman or experienced senior mechanic to lead our small workshop team. You'll play a key role in ensuring our diverse fleet of buses and coaches (including cutting-edge EVs) are road-ready and running smoothly for daily operations.

About you:

  • 5+ years of industry experience as a Diesel Mechanic with strong knowledge of fault diagnosis and repair skills.
  • Previous leadership experience or ready to step up —you are a clear communicator, experienced in mentoring/training and confident in leading a team.
  • You take pride in maintaining a tidy, well-organised workshop, with the ability to manage admin tasks like payroll and our fleet systems.
  • You have a team player mindset and collaborative approach to work as part of a tight knit team.
