We are looking for a Duty Manager to join our team:

PAY RATE

  • $28-$30 per hour

MINIMUM HOURS OF WORK

  • 38 hours per week

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complying with The Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, all amendments, any local alcohol policies.
  • Making beverage offerings with speed to the company standards as mandated by the Venue Manager.
  • Maintaining a clean work environment, including following the cleaning schedules.
  • Ensuring opening and closing procedures are adhered to.
  • Assist the Venue Manager to ensure that staff costs of the venue are consistently hitting targets.
  • Ensure systems established by the Venue Manager are followed by the staff.
  • Effectively manage daily cash handlings, variances and discrepancies.
  • Management of customer experience and engagement.
  • Manage and facilitate a high staff morale within your team.

EXPERIENCE:

  • A minimum of 1-year experience in a similar role in a hospitality business.
  • Previous experience in managing teams.
  • A deep understanding of customer experience management.
  • Previous experience in high-volume/high-end cocktail bars.
  • Previous experience with craft beer and boutique wine.
  • Experience with roster management and quality standards.
  • Proficient using the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Docs/Gmail.
  • Experience in dealing with various contractors and suppliers.
