Part-Time CDP

It's getting busier and Rainforest Malaysian Kitchen is looking for another part-time CDP / Junior Chef to join our small team.

4 evenings - Wed to Sat : 4pm to Close

$24 – 27 depending on experience + skills

Job Involves:

--Prepping, cooking to orders (deep-frying, hot-plate, small pots), plating & cleaning

What's provided:

--Full training of our processes/systems/procedures etc. in the kitchen; very consistent hours unless agreed-overtime or covering sicks/holiday; appropriate breaks during shifts (free meal & paid breaks), staff discount

What we are looking for:

--Good attitude + humility. Able to work in small team + owners. Willingness to learn + overall good personality.

· Experienced in a NZ commercial kitchen (will consider if you are in cooking school)

· Experienced in Malaysian cuisine = advantageous

· Experienced in commercial wok station/cooking = highly advantageous + top of wage range

· MUST be able to work in NZ; we cannot help you with VISA sorry.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
