Part-time Cdp

It’s getting busier and Rainforest Malaysian Kitchen is looking for another part-time CDP / Junior Chef to join our small team.

4 evenings - Wed to Sat : 4pm to Close

$24 - 27 depending on experience + skills

Job Involves:

- Prepping, cooking to orders (deep-frying, hot-plate, small pots), plating & cleaning

What’s provided:

- Full training of our processes/systems/procedures etc. in the kitchen; very consistent hours unless agreed-overtime or covering sicks/holiday; appropriate breaks during shifts (free meal & paid breaks), staff discount

What we are looking for:

- Good attitude + humility. Able to work in small team + owners. Willingness to learn + overall good personality.
- Experienced in a NZ commercial kitchen (will consider if you are in cooking school)
- Experienced in Malaysian cuisine = advantageous
- Experienced in commercial wok station/cooking = highly advantageous + top of wage range
- MUST be able to work in NZ; we cannot help you with VISA sorry.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 25 per week
