We are seeking a Technical Specialist to join our Infrastructure Enablement team. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure tools that support secure, scalable, and consistent application deployments across the enterprise.

As a member of the team, you will shape and evolve the tooling that underpins our provisioning, configuration management, deployment processes, and software supply chain. You will work at the intersection of engineering excellence, security, and developer experience—delivering elegant solutions that abstract infrastructure complexity and enable safe, fast software delivery.

What are 5 day to day tasks the person in this role will complete?

  • Design, build, and maintain infrastructure tools that support application hosting across diverse environments.

  • Deliver consistent, user-focused experiences through automation and abstraction of complex infrastructure operations.

  • Implement secure-by-default architectural patterns using infrastructure-as-code and configuration management tooling.

  • Collaborate with security, platform, and application teams to embed resilience, observability, and compliance into infrastructure tools.

  • Evaluate emerging tools and technologies to continuously improve the infrastructure lifecycle and developer outcomes.

What is the team culture and environment like?

What is the most challenging thing about this opportunity?

The challenge is in working through the best way to enable our Developers within the constraints of FinTech compliance and regulation.

What technical skills are beneficial for this role?

  • Expertise in Terraform, Ansible Automation Platform, and Octopus Deploy, as our primary 'products' for infrastructure.

  • Familiarity with software supply chain tooling, such as Red Hat Satellite and Chocolatey.

  • Scripting skills for infrastructure: Python, Bash, Powershell, Ansible.
