At our busy Supermarket, the Butchery isn't just a department – it's the beating (and occasionally sizzling) heart of the store. We're all about great food, great service and good laughs along the way.

Your key focus will be crafting beautiful cuts that make customers go 'oooh', keeping the cabinets looking sharp (just like your knives), interacting with customers and team members with a friendly, down-to-earth Kiwi charm, maintaining top notch Food Safety and Hygiene standards and working with a team who knows how to work hard and have fun. 

What you will need to bring to this role is a recognized butchery qualification, skill, speed and an eye for detail, a love of quality meats and great customer service, a willingness to jump into a fast-moving environment and a positive attitude and good banter are essential.

This will be a 40 hour per week position from Tuesday to Saturday. Ideally the start times will be 5.00am to 1.30pm or earlier if you're just that quick. There's plenty happening instore so expect variety. Our team are absolute Rockstars lead by a Production Lead that knows his stuff You won't be short on support from an enthusiast Butcher.
