Takapuna, Auckland, New Zealand Lodestone Energy Limited Full time NZ$95,000 - NZ$105,000 per year

Lodestone is on a mission to reshape New Zealand's energy future. Since 2019, we've been building and operating grid-scale solar farms across Aotearoa, pioneering solar-backed generation and leading the way with innovative customer solutions. Our ambition is bold, our pace is fast, and our people are the energy behind everything we achieve.

We're now looking for a highly trusted and experienced Executive Assistant to join us — someone who will operate as the right hand to our Managing Director and play a pivotal role across our rapidly growing business.

About the Role

In this dynamic role you'll be a steady hand, and a trusted confidant to the MD — someone who is firmly in his corner and committed to helping him (and Lodestone) succeed.

You'll navigate a wide range of relationships, from investors and Board members to regulators, government and senior leaders. You'll know how to tailor messaging, manage sensitive information with absolute discretion, and bring professionalism to every interaction. You'll also be comfortable rolling up your sleeves to support the wider team and keep the office running smoothly — no task too big or too small.

With visibility across the organisation, you'll help create alignment, momentum, and clarity across key priorities, while ensuring the MD is always one step ahead.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Provide high-trust, high-judgement executive support to the MD — including diary management, prioritisation, and stakeholder follow-through.
  • Serve as an extension of the MD in interactions with key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate Board and SLT activities, ensuring agendas, briefings, papers, and minutes are prepared to a consistently high standard.
  • Support shareholder and governance processes, including investor communications and documentation.
  • Act as a key liaison for office management and operational needs, keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes.
  • Protect confidentiality at all times while modelling calm, clarity, and professionalism.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for someone who combines strength, loyalty, and judgement — someone the MD can trust implicitly.

You will bring:

  • 8–10+ years of senior EA experience, ideally in complex or high-growth environments.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to shape messages for different audiences.
  • High integrity, strong business acumen, resilience under pressure, and a steady, solutions-focused approach.
  • Comfort engaging at senior levels, including with Boards and investors.
  • Strong organisational capability, anticipation of needs, and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A people-first mindset and willingness to help wherever needed — whether it's a board pack or an office logistics issue.

Most importantly, you'll be someone who becomes a trusted extension of the MD — someone who shows bold action, brings good energy, and helps us deliver a lasting legacy for Aotearoa.

Why Join Lodestone?

  • Be part of a company lighting the way for New Zealand's renewable future.
  • Work alongside a high-calibre leadership team in a business that's growing fast.
  • Make a meaningful impact every day — your work will truly matter.
  • Join a team driven by curiosity, courage, and collaboration.

How to Apply

If this sounds like the kind of role where you can bring your judgement, energy, and commitment — we'd love to hear from you. Please apply online with your CV. For a confidential chat, contact Viv on
