Niche Group is an innovative, highly regarded integrated Construction Group utilising modern methods of construction to deliver amazing projects across New Zealand.  The Group delivers a range of building projects for public and private sector clients and leads the Kiwi market in bringing together modular and traditional construction to deliver well designed, quality kiwi-made buildings at an unreal pace. There is currently an opening for a Group Support Adviser with experience in the construction or sub-trade sectors to join their busy team in Petone.

The Role:

  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with current and future clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide the Managing Director and Senior Leadership team with administrative, operational and project support including managing calendars, appointments, and scheduling; preparing, proofing, and formatting correspondence, reports, presentations, and briefing documents; and coordinating travel arrangements, itineraries, and expense reconciliation.
  • Help manage the flow of information into the office and outwards to clients/customers/suppliers
  • Assist with tender documents and marketing materials
  • Identify and pursue potential business development opportunities for the organisation
  • Support executive decision-making through research, information gathering, and document preparation.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has 4-8 years of experience in a business support or sales administration
  • Exposure to Sales, Marketing and Account Management – ideally within the construction industry or sub-trades sectors
  • Have fantastic communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Be confident, enthusiastic, decisive, and driven
  • Have great attention to detail
  • Keen to learn and grow
