General Manager Retail Fisher & Paykel Brand

The Opportunity 

As the General Manager Retail for Fisher & Paykel brand in NZ you will contribute to Fisher & Paykel Appliances' (FPA's) ability to achieve number one market position by leading the strategic planning and execution of the retail channel in New Zealand. This is a rare opportunity to shape the strategic direction of a premium brand and lead a team responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences, increasing market share, and driving profitable growth. 

The role requires you to work collaboratively across the business to ensure effective and consistent communications that support the delivery of world-class end to end customer experience across all touchpoints of the retail channel aligned to F&P brand.

This is where you come in 

As the General Manager Retail, you'll own the end-to-end performance of the Fisher & Paykel brand within the New Zealand retail channel. You will lead strategy, and channel development, ensuring world-class execution that aligns with our global goals and values. 

Your role will involve steering retail strategy and transformation, strengthen customer relationships, and foster cross-functional collaboration across product, marketing, supply chain, and customer experience. You'll lead a high-performing team of retail professionals, inspiring excellence, accountability, and innovation at every level. 

This is a leadership role that demands both strategic vision and operational precision. You will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of Fisher & Paykel's retail presence — and in doing so, contribute to our ongoing global success story. 

So who are you? 

You're a commercially astute and visionary retail leader with a track record of delivering growth and transformation for premium brands. You bring deep experience in multi-channel retail, ideally within a global organisation, and a proven ability to balance strategic foresight with operational excellence. 

You understand what it takes to drive brand performance across complex channels and inspire teams to achieve ambitious outcomes. You're confident navigating data and financials, yet equally strong in building relationships — with customers, partners, and people. Most importantly, you are a values-led leader who thrives in dynamic environments and takes ownership to deliver results.
