Clearwater Civil Limited is a well-established, locally owned and operated civil construction company based in Dunedin.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced excavator operator with a minimum of 2 years' experience working in the civil construction field. You will be able to efficiently and accurately perform tasks such as bulk excavation, backfilling, trenching.

Clearwater Civil provide comprehensive role specific training programmes and competitive pay rates benchmarked against current market data.

What you will need:

  • Licence classes 1, 2, 4 and W,T,R endorsements
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in the civil construction industry
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • A demonstrated commitment to working safely and co-operatively
  • A flexible work approach and excellent work attendance and punctuality
  • Experience and competency with a Roadranger gearbox is an advantage.

  • have sound knowledge and awareness of health and safety best practice;
  • are a motivated self starter who takes pride in the maintenance and presentation of machinery and worksites;
  • are a professional all-rounder who is willing and able to perform a variety of tasks;
  • take personal responsibility for performing high quality work.
