Junior A Football Coach

Fixed Term: 28 January – 25 September 2026 (Terms 1-3)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated coach for our Junior A Football team. This role drives the development of our top junior football players, with a clear pathway to our Premier squad.

Key Responsibilities

● Assist our Head of Football with trials, selections and pre-season planning

● Deliver a weekly coaching programme to develop our top junior players

● Oversee player development, goal setting and welfare including developing the pathway from junior to premier levels

● Attend all games (Wednesdays KO 4pm), exchanges and local tournaments where applicable

● Provide regular updates to the Head of Football and complete end-of-season reviews

● Build a positive, inclusive football culture

● Run development initiatives

● Lead mid-year reviews and end of year reviews

What We're Looking For

● Coaching qualifications or relevant experience (C Licence preferred)

● Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with students and community members

● Organised, self-motivated and confident under pressure

● Innovative, collaborative and aligned with school values
