Head of Football

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Head of Football to lead our school's Football Programme and coach the Premier 1st XI team. This role drives the long-term development of football at the school, creating strong pathways from junior participation to senior performance.

Head Coach - Premier 1st XI Squad

● Lead trials, selections and pre-season planning

● Deliver training camps and weekly coaching

● Oversee player development, goal setting and welfare

● Attend all games, exchanges and local and national tournaments

● Provide regular updates to the Director of Sport Development and complete end-of-season reviews

Football Development Programme

● Build a positive, inclusive football culture

● Develop pathways from junior to premier levels

● Run development initiatives

● Mentor coaches and support managers and referees

● Strengthen links with feeder schools and clubs

● Lead mid-year reviews and support student leadership

What We're Looking For

● Coaching qualifications or relevant experience (C Licence preferred)

● Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport with students and community members

● Organised, self-motivated and confident under pressure

● Innovative, collaborative and aligned with school values

● You will be well supported by the Director of Sport Development, Football Coordinator and Strength & Conditioning Coach
