Structural Engineer – Napier

We're on the lookout for an experienced Structural Engineer to join our Napier studio (a contribution to relocation costs is available). You'll have the opportunity to work across a wide range of projects from commercial and health to residential and winery developments all while collaborating closely with our team and clients to bring designs to life.

You'll work alongside a great bunch of people, on a 9/80 basis (80 hours a fortnight across 9 days). That means more flexibility, with every second Friday off, and more time to do the things that matter to you.

What we're looking for:

  • A tertiary qualification in engineering; preferably a Washington Accord or equivalent Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering
  • An understanding of engineering first principles and ability to apply these to everyday situations
  • Minimum 3 years' relevant experience
  • Proficiency in engineering software; preferably ETABS, SPACE GAS Remove Revit
  • Strong understanding of NZ design standards, building codes, and compliance processes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Adaptable and solutions focused, with ownership and pride in your work
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities
