TANA NZ Ltd is one of Auckland and Wellington's larger Scaffolding, False Work/Propping and Formwork providers. We have a very large inventory of plant. Enough to service any sized project in Commercial, Residential, Civil, Industrial and Event sectors. Tana NZ has been very successful in securing many large-scale projects, on top of our existing secured works across the whole North Island of NZ, including Auckland, Wellington, Waikato, and Bay of Plenty. We have also many more in negotiations. The team at Tana NZ is expanding again. We know what to do and our teams do it well. We have two yards is based in Patumahoe, Auckland and Grenada North, Wellington.

We are looking for the following people to fill these roles in our Wellington branch.

  1. Class 4 or 5 drivers (Hiab an advantage)

Truck Drivers key tasks and responsibilities:

  • Transporting scaffold, Loading and unloading gear, Delivering gear and accurately checking it off, Ensuring that vehicles are kept in appropriate condition that defects are reported and the cab interior is kept tidy, Driving in a safe, courteous and legal manner.
  • Maintaining records, Maintaining logbook to New Zealand standards,  Recording and reporting vehicle defects.
  • Maintaining good relationships in the workplace, Communicating effectively in the workplace, Maintaining positive working relationships, Receiving and relaying messages within the organisation.

Required Qualifications required for the job:

  • Class 4 or 5 NZ Drivers License

Wage range:

Truck Drivers: $ $38

Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours work each week but can work up to 50 hours.

Successful candidates must have the following:

  • A good attitude towards work, an eye for detail and a willingness to grow within the business
  • Be physically fit
  • Be reliable and trustworthy
  • Have your own transport to get to and from work
