Auckland, Auckland, New Zealand Tribe Recruitment Full time

About The Company
An organisation is dedicated to celebrating and strengthening the Māori identity, language, and culture. Its work focuses on sharing stories that reflect unique perspectives, values, and traditions while also embracing modern innovation and creativity. With a strong commitment to education, connection, and cultural preservation, the organisation strives to inspire pride, understanding, and unity among all communities in New Zealand and beyond.

About The Role
We are seeking a Learning and Development Advisor for a fixed-term position to support the next phase of capability development programme of work. The initial groundwork - mapping competencies across senior leadership, management, and employee level - has already been completed. The focus of this role is to build on that foundation by costing proposed initiatives, scheduling and coordinating their delivery, developing an implementation plan, and designing assessment tools and frameworks to measure effectiveness.

This role offers an opportunity to bring structure, insight, and momentum to the learning and development strategy, ensuring initiatives are practical, well-aligned, and ready for execution.

About You
It goes without saying that you'll come with experience in delivering L&D programmes, with the ability to deliver and evaluate their effectiveness, aligned to the business strategy.

A Couple Of Additional Requirements Are

  • Qualification in a related field
  • Training content and facilitation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office products
  • Previous use of CRM & LMS systems

You know how to engage an audience, and 'service delivery' is at the heart of everything you do.

You muck in, do whatever is needed, and you have this "way about you" that gets uptake from everyone, through the enthusiasm you, and your initiatives, naturally create.

Being fluent in Te reo Māori would be a big advantage
